‘The Italian Job’

‘The Italian Job’

Matt Hughes and team making a presentation to Nicolo Lanaro thanking him for being a great team member and wishing him well for the future. Nicolo has been with the company for the past 4 weeks on work experience. Nicolo is from Northern Italy and came to Rhyl, North Wales on the The Erasmus program (short for the European Community Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students) which is an initiative run by the European Union (EU). It provides opportunities for students to study or gain work experience in a different European country while completing a degree.

Matt said “We are committed to helping young people to enter the workforce. We want the young person on work experience to be an active member of staff. We aim to give them an enjoyable and a positive work experience. We are a growing business and need new talent to deliver. There is no substitute for people experiencing the culture of the organisation and for us to experience their work ethic and attitude. It helps people to discover the industry and why they want to work here.’

Nico 2

“Thank you all for being so helpful, supportive and friendly throughout my placement. I really had a fantastic time and learnt so much. The things that I have learnt will be invaluable to me in my future career. NWPS Construction has been a great place to be. “

– Nicolo
